I've no idea when I'll be able to send this postcard, but now is a good time to start composing it on the snazzy new keyboard I may or may not have set up correctly (like I said - who knows when I'll send it; rather who knows if you'll get it). I landed in Auckland on the morning of the seventh, 28 hours after leaving Phila. + 16 in time change. After clearing customs and immigration, I made it to the city bus that took me to the InterCity terminal. The sun came up while I was on this bus. In the dark, New Zealand looked just like northern Delaware. I felt cheated! As the sun came up, though, and we drove further from the city on my next bus, the contours and foliage were more like that of Bermuda. And then the sky grayed and it began to rain: a cold wind blew...Now I would say that New Zealand is a Bermuda/Scottish Hebridean hybrid on performance enhancing drugs. The landscape is vastly sculpted in vibrant shades of green. When it's bleary, the sight is incredible. The few glimpses I've had of a sunny New Zealand show it to be even more unbelievable. I'm in
