There was once a music so hauntingly beautiful it cajoled sailors into leaping from their ships to reach the source. These melodies issued from the flowery island meadow of the Sirens, three sisters in search of the kidnapped Persephone. Odysseus was lashed to a mast in order to hear their song without destroying himself trying to get to it. The Siren seen here is just as beautiful as the ones of myth, with a voice that lures one not to certain death but instead to a mesmerizing night at the theater.
