Art can be defined as subjectively as are the qualities, scenes and objects it is used to portray. Art’s basic language depends on the individual who creates it but its interpretation is up to the audience. These many and vastly different views are the essence of art’s importance to the world. In deciding to present her or his observations and the effort to make others understand them, the artist has taken on the responsibility of finding a universal truth via solo effort. There are various aids along the way to support her or him on the quest (as well as plenty of obstacles), but the journey is basically a lone adventure; one which requires strength and courage. The most important thing to keep in mind is this: keep going.
